The Wall Street Journal: Kobe Bryant’s family agrees to new partnership with Nike to produce shoes, clothing

have reached a new deal to continue producing sneakers and apparel from the late basketball star’s signature line.

The agreement also includes a commitment to create a youth basketball center as well as a shoe honoring Vanessa Bryant’s late daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant. Nike released 11 models of the popular Zoom Kobe sneaker line during Kobe Bryant’s illustrious 20-year career, as well as six post-career shoes.

The announcement, made by Vanessa Bryant and Nike on Thursday, comes nearly a year after Kobe Bryant’s initial endorsement deal with the sneaker giant had expired.
